Welcome to the Farming Ahead 2010 conference site

Kondinin Group, together with the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN) hosted the inaugural national Farming Ahead 2010 conference in September 2010.   

Held in Sydney, the Farming Ahead 2010 conference was a cutting-edge two-day conference providing a unique opportunity for grower groups, research, development and extension organisations and corporations to come together to build highly-effective knowledge networks for the future.

The Conference showcased best practice amongst grower groups and offered practical advice to assist in providing effective services to their members. Much of the Conference program was delivered by grower groups and with opportunity for networking, sharing information and seeing how others do it.

It is estimated there are more than 400 grower groups and farming systems groups servicing around half of Australia’s farmers. Communication is essential in the success of any R&D project or innovation and it is now, more than ever, critical for organisations involved in agricultural R&D to communicate effectively with their stakeholders, spanning the entire industry.
